The Arkansas Soybean Promotion Board (ASPB) is established to improve the profitability of soybean production in Arkansas and to distribute funds from the checkoff for research and Extension projects conducted by the University of Arkansas Agricultural Experiment Station and Cooperative Extension Service.
Soybean Production in Arkansas Podcasts The Cooperative Extension Service is offering podcasts, created in conjunction with the Arkansas Soybean Promotion Board. These podcasts are intended to provide producers with timely information about production. Follow the link below to the UofA Cooperative Extension Service website to view these podcasts. http://www.aragriculture.org/crops/soybeans/podcasts/ 2009 Race for 100 bu/acre This is a yield contest to recognize and reward the top soybean producer(s) in Arkansas who have obtained soybean yields of 100 bushels per acre or more. A $50,000 cash award will be presented to the Arkansas soybean producer(s) who can document soybean yields that equal or exceed 100 bushels per acre. This is a one time award and will remain in effect until claimed. In the event that there are multiple entries over 100 bu/a, the prize will be divided evenly between the winners.
